First scan after MMC

absolutely petrified for my first scan tomorrow. Found out at my 12 week scan I had suffered MMC. I was bleeding every ten days in my last pregnancy and my last bleed was 1st August. I found out I was pregnant 17th October so I should be around 9 weeks. Iv had no bleeding. Iv had sore boobs, pregnancy discharge, awful morning sickness throughout all of day and night. I was very bloated, I looked like I had a bump, but over the last few days it's completely gone down, I look pre pregnancy. Panicking something is wrong. Can anyone shed some light?
Thank you in advance
Smile

Thinking of you OP - I was in the same boat with a MMC and terrified of the 12 week scan with my next pregnancy. My horrendous morning sickness and sore boobs all stopped a few days prior to the scan like you which added to the anxiety. Thankfully all was well and I'm now 33 weeks, so I am sending all my good wishes and hoping the same happens for you.

It's normal for pregnancy symptoms to alleviate around the 12 week mark as it's when the placenta gets more fully formed, protecting you from such major hormone fluctuations. Try not to worry and I hope the scan all goes well for you xx

Totally normal for bloat bumps to come and go at this stage.

Scans are really terrifying once you’ve had a MMC. I was shaking going into my last one! Tell the sonographer you’re nervous because of previous losses. Flowers

Thank you!! I so hope everything's ok. I can't think of anything else at all. Just so nervous all the time and I already suffer anxiety so this is just horrible.i don't know what il do if it's bad news tomorrow. Sad

So sorry to hear about your MMC.
I'm currently 18 weeks with DC1. I remember I got to 9 weeks and woke up...and just panicked! I had been feeling so so sick permanently up to then, and I woke up feeling great that day! I wasn't sick at all (I had been sick 4-5 times a day previously), and I felt fantastic!
It lasted 2 days 😂. Then the sickness started again. I will say though that my EPAU were fantastic when I was feeling anxious, so give them a phone if you need to ❤️

I was the same. Sonographer was brilliant. Showed us the baby and the heartbeat to reassure before she talked us through the tests she would need to do. Thankfully the scan was in a different part of the hospital this time so didn't have to go back into the same room as before.

I have my 20 week tomorrow and even though I can feel movement I'm still scared in case something is wrong!
