Second pregnancy- movements?

Hi, this is my second pregnancy (not including my 2 miscarriages).

17 weeks today and not feeling any movement yet. I’m wondering whether I’ve got anterior placenta again. Does anyone know if you’re likely to have anterior placenta if you have had it before. Also when did everyone feel movement in second pregnancy?

I heard the heartbeat last week and back at the midwife next week for another cheeky listen to keep me sane! But would love to be feeling them for myself!

I’m 17+3 with number two and haven’t felt anything yet. Also had an anterior placenta last time so suspect this may be the case. My midwife assured me that even with second pregnancies it’s not unusual not to feel movements until more like 20 weeks - you should be able to get a feel for the pattern of your babies’ movements by 23/24 weeks so plenty of time!

I’m 38 weeks with DS2 and have had anterior placenta both times, felt movements this time round about 18/19 weeks, just the wee flutters to start with then kicks after 20/22 weeks.

Thank you for the reassurance! I’m convinced it will be anterior again, I know a couple of people who had it twice on the trot!!! Hopefully the wiggles will start soon!! Xx

This is my second pregnancy I'm 25 weeks SmileI know I have an anterior placenta and am only now starting to get regular movement even still sometimes a day with hardly anything but that's normal for me. With my first I had regular consistent movement from around 17 weeks, she was a girl and now I'm having a boy so maybe I've just got a lazy little boy too Wink
