I am 33 weeks and feel completely squashed !
I am so uncomfortable and have quite a small bump so not overly sure why- is it normal to feel this uncomfortable?
I feel like whenever the baby moves it’s sore and standing at work all day is far too much effort- but sitting down it feels like the baby is right under my bra and feels even worse !!

Been there. Sooo uncomfortable for ages sitting down. Which way is baby facing? My DD was head up for ages and it was quite uncomfortable. I'm sure if your baby was unusually massive, the midwives would have said.

Yep I feel the same. I'm 33 +2 and I feel as if I can't breathe at times you'd have thought I smoked 20 a day, it's a challenge even rolling over in bed 😬

The fact that you have a little bump might explain things!

The baby has to go somewhere so they must be tight and compact inside you!

I have verrry sticky-out bumps so I'm all out front. I feel sorry for those with small or flat-ish bumps because surely it's rally uncomfortable keeping it all in there?!

You have my sympathy! I’m 31w with no. 3 and feel the same. I too have had a really small bump in all my pregnancies. I think this makes it worse as the baby takes up all the room - your bladder gets pushed down and all your other internal organs get jammed under your ribs. I’m really feeling it in the last week or so. According to my notes my uterus is at my rib cage now so I guess it’s to be expected.

I find I have to sit poker straight all the time otherwise it’s just too uncomfortable.

Looking on the bright side the baby might engage soon and give you some more room!

I had exactly the same experience with DC2. Small bump, but felt like my internal organs were being squashed into my ribcage. Baby was 9.5 lbs, to the surprise of the theatre team who delivered him Grin

I'm 32 weeks and not particularly big and at times i feel like i can't breath and get really uncomfortable. When I'm standing up i feel very uncomfortable when he moves. X

Me too, feeling your pain! Teeny tiny bump at 32weeks, if I stand for too long my back aches, if I sit for too long it feels like baby is pressing up into my lungs & I can't breathe.... cannot win. Every kick, punch, hiccup & movement he does feels quite uncomfortable. He is still breech, praying he flips around some day soon.

Oh god thank goodness I’m not alone !! Sorry that it makes me feel slightly better that we’re all in this together !

I dropped 20p on the floor yesterday... and left it Blush

Oh so glad it’s not just me! Baby is breech at 30 weeks, head right under my ribs and I have a hacking cough so every time I cough it wriggles in a bit more. I have taught my 5 year old to pass me everything. His pjs are currently laying on the floor because I just can’t get down to pick them up!

MrsMarigold · 03/10/2018 10:40

I had this during pregnancy, eating and drinking made it worse, so did needing the loo. Arghh, but it's wonderful as soon as the baby was out I downed a pint of water and it was marvellous. My bump never got bigger after 32 weeks but the space inside got worse, both DC were back to back.

AnneWiddecombesHandbag · 03/10/2018 18:00

I had this, was soo uncomfortable couldn't sit down as my body felt too full. Told the midwife she said oh that's normal. I spent the last month laying down as was the only way to get comfy.

When he was born he was 11lbs. No wonder if been so bloody uncomfortable! No sign he was going to be that big!

lmj25 · 03/10/2018 18:36

@AnneWiddecombesHandbag 11lbs wow ShockShock

AnneWiddecombesHandbag · 03/10/2018 19:59

I know! Haha I was in shock. He was really Long as well. He looked about 4 weeks old haha

Harleypuppy · 03/10/2018 20:01

With my second one if I bent over just slightly I'd vomit a little bit.
