Hi i’m 26 weeks pregnant with #4 and last week I saw physio and I was diagnosed with SPD and sacroiliac joint disorder. I’m in absolute agony. Physiotherapist said my pelvis was diagonal and she did her best to realign it. I felt so much worse after she had manipulated it but it has improved slightly. She has given me exercises to do and told me to use ice packs. Also to stop hoovering, to stop using shopping trolleys, walk up the stairs one step at a time etc. Although I have had 2 or 3 occasions since I saw her where I can’t feel my legs! I’m assuming it’s to do with nerves. She did say if there wasn’t much improvement then i’m to go back and i’ll be issued with crutches. Not really the route I want to go down, but wondering if they may help! I have a 2,
4 and 8 year old! feeling super hormonal today and I guess it will get worse before it gets better. Any advice appreciated. Thank you.
