Advice please..

Hi,

I'm currently 10+1 pg with my 1st.

I'm suffering from the worst headaches along with a raised temperature, has anybody else ever experience this?

The headaches are crippling me and I feel terrible.. I'm not due to see my midwife for another couple of days.

It's likely the virus that's doing the round. Rest and plenty of fluids.

I found forehead really good for headaches. I didn't get a temperature so not exactly sure however paracetamol should help bring it down.

Call your midwife and get checked, headaches and a temp need checking out incase it's some kind of infection.

It could be nothing as headaches are quite common around week 9 and 10 and you temperature goes up a bit when you are pregnant. However, on the chance that it could be something, I think you should get it checked out anyway.

I would certainly get checked for reassurance OP! I was however in a similar situation to you - my first trimester was literally just one giant tension headache. I got checked and my BP was fine and I didn’t have infections etc. Midwife said it was normal and just to keep up fluids, take paracetamol and rest! Not easy I know but it did ease off a bit as I progressed, hopefully you’ll be the same x
