Following , as am overdue now! Asked midwife today and she just told me the obvious ones that you'll already know... I'm going to try lots of walks and bouncing on my ball this week!

Baby comes when baby's ready. I tried em all and was still overdue by 11 days.

My SIL swears by pineapple!

5 days overdue, tried them all! Nothing seems to be working for me! Annoying cause I was 100% effaced, 2cm dilated last Thursday at my sweep, lost my mucus plug on Friday... still nothing happening! Is it possible to be in labour with no painful contractions 😂😂😂

None of the old wives tales worked for me, I tried them all from 40 weeks with DS1. Got to 42 weeks before I went into labour. :S
The things I tried but didn't work: curry, pineapple, raspberry leaf tea, very long walks, bouncing on a ball, acupuncture, sex. I had heard nipple tweaking works but it made me feel nauseous so I didn't try. I agree with a PP that the baby comes when it is ready.

The baby will come only when it's ready. And that's a good thing! The old wives tales are rubbish
