hello tmp... welcome to mn

toomanypies · 12/06/2007 15:25

Wow Lio - that's quite a thread there - got stuck into reading that... plus talk of 1 hour labours - where can I get me one of those?! (dd was about 10 hours, but spent about 18hours before that turning around - ouch!)
so this time around we're going for a homebirth, got my huge inflatable pool thing at the ready...

You don't wanna be on this site then. Its really boring and completely Un-addictive! No-one argues, no-one flounces, quite dull really!
Hello & welcome!

MaureenMLove · 12/06/2007 15:26

You need to make yourself known to Lulumama, she's gagging for an online birth thread!

funnypeculiar · 12/06/2007 15:26

hello & welcome - good luck for the waterbirth [jealous emoticon]

elsieanjoanne · 12/06/2007 15:26

wow not long now then, opps hello

Lio · 12/06/2007 15:32

Hey, I had a home birth second time around too - 2 hour labour, go on, you can do it

toomanypies · 12/06/2007 15:38

Well i practically had dd at home - went in an was sent home (after the first 18 hours thing) told to come back when my waters broke... but that was at about 8 cm... so only 2 hours in hospital.

Didn't get a waterbirth that time due to meconium in my waters, so gagging to try it this time!

toomanypies · 12/06/2007 21:45

elsie that sounds fabulous! getting pretty excited about it now - and the prospect of meeting the little one, of course!

how old's your baby now? were you at home for the birth or in hospital?

Top tip: Stock up on bogroll, you're going to get through a lot over the next few weeks so look out for special offers and buy loads.

toomanypies · 12/06/2007 21:49

and none of that scratchy recycled stuff either, eh? ...

Bouquetsofdynomite · 13/06/2007 14:09

Nouvelle isn't scratchy! It's lovely and costs less than Andrex , don't know why it's not more popular.
