Second baby easier than first?

I'm pregnant with my second baby (due April) and I was just wondering what everyone's experiences were with their second dc. My dd will be just over 2 when the second dc arrives and I'm getting nervous about the second arrival. My dd was a very difficult baby right from birth and I didn't have a easy labour either which added to the extra stress of the newborn stage. She's absolutely amazing now but still a live wire. Was the second baby pleasantly easier or was it really hard work? And if so how did you manage those first few months?

My first ds was a really easy baby, slept amazingly fed well just really was very content. My dd was born 13 months later and had awful reflux resulting in constant projectile vomiting, colic, didn’t sleep. It aaa a huge shock to the system as I was so used to my eldest being an ‘easy baby’ ...so there is really no way of knowing with each baby, but you will cope fine just be prepared, it goes past so quickly I wish I could go back to my two being that little again!

My second birth was a million times easier. I think second births are sometimes easier because your body has done it all before. My second baby was a big, healthy chilled out little love. He fed well, slept well and met all of his mile stones on time.

I Hannah is right though. I think it just depends on the baby.

Thanks. Yeah I know it massively depends on the baby. Fingers crossed the next one is a little more chilled out! Although I'll prepare myself for another version of dc 1 just in case lol. Also hoping my second birth is a little better as well!

I was much more chilled with DS2... and he was in return. I had done it all before and as I'm a control freak, this aspect really suited me, I loved it. Going from 1 to 2 kids however took quite the adjustment but mine were 17m apart.
