BFP - Dates? So confused!

I got my BFP yesterday and CB test is dating at 1-2 weeks. However, my last period was 17th August so my apps want to date me at 6-7 weeks. I'm guessing I ovulated late.

Anybody shed any light on timings/expected due date? It's like a mine field I can't bloody work out haha.

Clear blue don't date you from your LMP. If you read their instructions it says 1-2 weeks really means 3-4 weeks since your LMP (how medics date you).

The additional couple of weeks could mean you ovulated late. However you will find out more from your '12' week scan as they date you officially from then.

@Namechanger55555 Thank you. I read that about the 3-4 weeks on the leaflet but got thrown by my apps saying 6-7 but I guess that's just down to late ovulation.

I guess I'm best just waiting for dating scan xxx

@TokenGinger my dates are almost exactly the same - LMP 18th August, got my BFP (and 1-2 on CBD) last Thursday. I have very irregular cycles due to PCOS though, so I think it's very unlikely I'm actually 6 weeks as LMP would suggest, which would give a due date of May 25th, and more likely just over 4, which gives a due date of June 8th. Might see if I can get an early scan but otherwise it's just a matter of waiting unfortunately!

@SockQueen Our dates are 1 day apart! So exciting. I think we might do an early reassurance scan xx
