Hi just after some advice. I went in for monitoring on Friday for my second episode of reduced Fetal movements at nearly 33 weeks and also had a growth scan. All looked ok on the scan measurements and blood flow/ fluid were ok but the sonographer didn't see the baby move so it was noted no fm during scan on my notes.

I saw a doctor after further monitoring who was happy with the ctg results but wanted me on daily ctgs over the weekend. I've been back yesterday and today and the ctg results were fine and can feel baby move but trey want me back again tomorrow and a scan on Tuesday. No doctor there to explain why to me today so I'm so confused I feel it's all a bit too much.

Ii had growth scans and extra scans for reduced movements. They'll want to make absolutely sure baby is healthy and back in a pattern of moving regularly, and also have a further look for anything that could be affecting their movements. (my son was was perfectly healthy but arrived unexpectedly at 36 weeks)

It is worrying to keep having monitoring and scans, but it does mean you're getting great care. They would much rather have you monitored unnecessarily and all be well than have you at home worrying.
