Hello :),
I'm 20, I know it's young to start a family, I know 😂.
But does anyone have any tips for getting pregnant?

I took ‘trying for a baby’ by seven seas tablets to help get my menstrual cycle back. I’d come off the contraceptive pill (after solid 10 year use). Came off start of December and conceived end of Jan.

Also download apps that track your cycle and can tell you your most fertile days

Come off contraception (if you're on any) and get to know your cycles.

Average cycle is 28 days from start of one to the next (first day of your cycle is the day your period starts). On average, a woman will ovulate (release an egg) 14 days before her period, so this is when she's at her most fertile.

Have sex regularly (every other day is enough) around this time (or right through the cycle if you're not regular and aren't sure when you will ovulate).

Try and have a healthy diet, minimal alcohol (both you and your partner) and take folic acid.

Good luck!

I'm having regular sex, but I have PCOS and very irregular periods so it's hard to tell when I ovulate.
I'm taking folic acid, vitamins etc and trying to loose weight, which I think might help.

You might find the conception forum more helpful - there’s lots of ttc discussion there with advice on things to try.
