Not a pleasant topic, but I would appreciate any wisdom that any of you wise people can offer!

I am in early pregnancy- 7w +1 today. I have been feeling very nauseous and struggling to eat, so my usual high(ish) fibre diet has gone out the window and I’m just eating whatever I can face. I am getting really constipated which is making me feel sluggish and grumpy, and with a new job and a nearly two year old to cope with, I could just do without it!

Any suggestions on how to get things moving again? I don’t remember this being such an issue first time around, and I am really hoping it’s not going to continue for the whole pregnancy!!

Movical and Lactulose are both safe to take for constipation in pregnancy!

I agree, Lactulose worked great for me. I'd definitely recommend it.

Lots of prune juice. Big supermarkets will sell it.
