I get heat exhaustion stupidly easily (although not at all in my first trimester).

Today I did a work out (usual for me) and after I started to feel rubbish and now have a migraine. I didn’t feel really hot at the time (although my face was red) but now I think it might be heat exhaustion and symptoms are similar.

I’ve stupidly googled it and now I feel awful as it can really damage the baby..... I’m so annoyed at myself. Does anyone have any similar stories and their babies were ok???

I’m coming up for 7 weeks. I’m not even sure what I’m hoping to read in responses.

Good morning. Try not to worry, I went through a similar worry when I was 6 weeks because I used an electric blanket and got really hot. I am 34 weeks now and everything, as far as I know, is fine. I googled extensively which...as you say was scary...but I also found a study which monitored heat levels of women working out doing various types of exercise and none of their temperatures rose to the level that causes harm. It is fever type level and you almost certainly would have known at the time if you had over heated. Even if you had, what you have read on Google just shows you the worst case scenario. Overheating is why you are not meant to go into a sauna or Jacuzzi when pregnant...yet women in Finland continue to do so their whole pregnancy. It's good to be aware of risks but forget about this one and look forward to what's to come x

Thank you so much @hopehope20 for taking time to reply. It has really helped me worry less. I felt similar today so maybe yesterday was the start of my new normal just exaggerated by the exercise.... Thank you.
