What week does the 3rd trimester start?

Some books say 26 weeks others say 28.

What's people's thoughts?

I always thought it was 28

I thought it was 27.

But the due-in forum I'm using are all condsidering it 28 weeks.

I figured out that exactly 3 months before my due date was 24th September. (Due 24th Jan).
Which made me just over 27weeks.

That makes me technically in the third trimester.

So whatever due date you have, minus 3 months exactly. That's when you're in the third trimester.

Sorry due 24th December.

I clearly don't even know my own due date.

I just looked at an app of mine and it says I'm in the 3rd trimester, I'm currently 26+3. The NHS website says 28weeks I'm so I would go by that

28 weeks sounds more like it, I was just a bit when my book said 26!
