I really want one of these but it’s a bit pricey. Does anyone know if there’s something similar but cheaper I can get anywhere?

I know it's not the same but we purchased the below. It's a mobile, projector and night light (you can detach the egg shaped light at the top and it's mood colours or can set it to one colour). The video on the link explains it! http://www.argos.co.uk/product/7022995?storeID=448&cmpid=GS001&$ja=tsid:59156%7Cacid:444-797-0832%7Ccid:596683589%7Cagid:28645061725%7Ctid:pla-328528123808%7Ccrid:96088741045%7Cnw:g%7Crnd:16724415887426178290%7Cdvc:m%7Cadp:1o1%7Cmt:%7Cloc:1006886&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIicnHrN3f3QIVhLHtCh0RMQkQEAQYASABEgIi4fDD_BwE

Not quite as snazzy, you can't wear it, but I like this one for night time feeds/nappy changes www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01DDCUPTC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8

It has a dimmer so you can turn it right down, and it's (rechargable) battery powered so you can carry it around if needed.

Wow the money people spend on things! We literally just use little battery-powered animal mood-lights from places like Amazon or Dunelm. They're cute, the right brightness and not expensive. Also babies seem to really like the colour changing ones; it holds their attention while still being calm enough not to fully wake them up.

If you have the money then sure go for the expensive stuff, but if you don't, then cheap mood lights work just as well.

Kate123cl · 29/09/2018 10:35

@Snap5 We only bought that because
1, It was on offer and 2, it's 3 in one so less clutter

Snap5 · 29/09/2018 11:17

That's completely fair and don't get me wrong, the expensive ones are so expensive BECAUSE they're specifically designed and are therefore perfect for their intended use. It was only be side OP mentioned the expense that I thought I'd give a cheap alternative :)

I picked up this one in Aldi - changes colours, nice brightness level, very happy with it www.aldi.co.uk/kirkton-house-bear-night-light/p/084980235546200
