Pregnancy with Adenomyosis

Afternoon all! I am new here and I am currently 5 weeks pregnant.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and in all honesty I thought my child bearing days were over.
Luckily, we have managed to conceive and we are really excited.
But I am also absolutely terrified something will go wrong.
I'm due to see the midwife for the first time in 2 weeks, which I will be mentioning my concerns.

Has anyone got any experience with pregnancy and adenomyosis ?
Biggest concern is that it's not going to be taken seriously by any health professionals as noone seems to know much about it anyway.
Thank you all

@BeckyArmstrong sorry to hear about your previous struggles. I got adeno after a second trimester miscarriage back in 2021 and haven’t been able to get pregnant since until our 4th IVF transfer which we just lost last week :( just devastated.

let us know how you get on.

I know the feeling and right now you're feeling at your worst, so it's hard to think of next steps. Just take time to process and recover. When you're ready, if you're gut is saying something immune based then definitely explore it, but don't put pressure on yourself right now. We all know how painstaking this process, and heartbreaking. 💔 You'll find your strength in time, but for now really spend time looking after yourself.

Its so unfair, but you'll make the right decision for you in time.
