Positive test or not?

Hi there,

I'm new to the forum. My husband and I have been ttc since July. This cycle my period is late and I did a pregnancy test this morning, not with the first morning urine though.
The first response one came back with a very faint second pink line, so I took a second one (clear blue digital with weeks indicator) that said not pregnant. I also took one of the simple strip ones that had a very faint second line (but this one's almost invisible).

I'm a bit confused now and not sure what to think. The first response second line is very faint but definitely there... and the leaflet says however faint the line still means pregnant?
Anyone has any experience with that?
Don't want to get over excited over nothing...

The clear blue digital, from what I understand, are less sensitive than a first response - you may be pregnant enough for it to show on a first response, but need a few more days before you have enough hcg to show on a clear blue digital.

If you have a second line, that appeared within the time limit, and that has colour, then that's a positive pregnancy test - congratulations!

10dpo FRER is the 1st one I took. I'm 14 weeks now. Sounds like you are pregnant congratulations 💐

The clear blue digi also said not pregnant at 10dpo but I took one 2 weeks later and got 3+ weeks. You need higher HCG for the digital.

The pattern of mine was the same as yours:
Visible line on frer
Squinter on simple strip test
Not pregnant on cb digital

I’m now 17 weeks

@Angelmiracle my test line looks slightly fainter than your top one, but it's definitely there and definitely pink. It also appeared within the first minute so I'm hoping it's a positive. Will test again Sunday to be sure :)

I've only just realised the picture has 4 tests on it, only saw the middle 2 in the preview. So mine is somewhere between your dpo10 and 11. Fingers crossed :)

Even when I was 14 DPO I had a line on the First Response but a very faint squinter on the cheap strip test. First Response tests are generally the most reliable I find. If the line is pink and appeared quickly then sounds like you’re pregnant! Keep testing and hopefully the line will get darker. X
