Just to say, midwives and docs bkeat on about how important it is to count the kicks etc for babys health BUT....your health ia just as important and if you suspect that even the smallest of things isnt right, or thst you just dont frel right in general please do not hesitate to get checked out.
I am currently stuck in a top London hospital at 33 weeks, very poorly? After initially going back to GP for a differrnt heartburn relief tablet. Whilst baby is ok at the moment and tucked up well/coping with all my dramas - were very much airing on the side of caution in that - he may be delivered early as a result.
So please please please if you do not feel "right" get checked out. Im lucky, VERY lucky i did! X

I completely agree! If I'd not met the midwife I'd met when I was 29 weeks with DD (I'd gone to have a chat as she specialised in working with women having a difficult pregnancy) and had preeclampsia spotted, DD wouldn't be here. And given that I had weekly scans by this point, how bad things were had been missed.

I was in (a top London specialist) hospital for 6 weeks and DD was delivered at 35 +1 in the end. Fine, thank god, but it was scary.

Hang on in there! Thinking of you and hope you feel better soon Thanks

Its such a scary concept.
I went from asking about having a new heartburn relief tab (had been checked for PE previously because of some symptoms) to.....
Iron levels being told theyve crashed immensely and needed blood transfusions immediatelh - had 4 units of blood in 2 days and still yet to assertain whether its working or not, platelets low,
Kidneys not working, nobody knowing whats wrong....
Big question marks over diagnosis etc....still here - still going but still very poorly.
And i wonder had i not got that appointment when i did wtf would have happened to me and baby?!
We as humans can be so negligent on our health just putting it down to "rough week at work" "coming down with the winter bug" etc when in reality - we should especially whilst pregnant be super super vigilant. We know whats right and wrong for us and actually its not wasted time if we receive reassurance. X
