I had an early ultrasound as I haven't had a period since getting implant removed months ago has positive pregnancy tests. When I went the lady said she could see the thickening of the endometriom but could really see a sac or baby she said that she thinks I'm about 5 weeks and believed she could see a little dot which could be the sac has anyone else been through this just feel worried now?

Was it an internal ultrasound? Have you been told to go back in 7 days for a rescan?

It's really early to see much

I know it's hard but try not to worry. It's not surprising that they couldn't see anything at that gestation, it's extremely early to have a scan. As long as you're not experiencing any worrying symptoms try to assume that everything is okay. You're pregnant until you're not. Good luck

it was a private scan as I never knew how far along I was, was an ultrasound. Thankyou feel like am thinking the worse but not had any bad signs I have to go back in 3 weeks will seem like forever.

Please don’t worry too much, I had an early scan due to previous ectopics..I was around 5 weeks for the first and they saw nothing, 2 weeks later they saw a sac and then a week later the embryo, he is now 10 years old!!! I won’t lie it was a long wait and it drove me mad! Please be positive and rest lots xx

I can imagine it will be awful to wait but at least by then you should be far enough along to see something promising and then it will decrease your worry! They all grow at different rates at the very beginning and dates can be off and all sorts. I'm sure baby is doing well in there Smile

Thankyou I feel more reassured now am naturally a worrier anyways! thankyou :) xx
