Nub theory guesses

Had my 12 week scan today, turns out I'm 13 + 1. Boy or girl do you think?

I'd say girl. If what I'm looking at is the nub it looks slightly angled downwards. Ingender is a good site to post on, they're usually spot on and I believe 13 weeks has a high success rate of nub theory

I though my girl too until I compared them with DS's scan picture and couldn't tell much difference!

I suppose it depends when your scan with DS was. If it's pre 13 weeks there's a chance of the nub "rising" that's why any guesses, especially for a girl, pre-13 weeks are usually cautious.

Either that or the nub theory just wasn't right for your DS! It is only a theory and I have hear a few people say it turned out to be wrong.

It's probably more a case of me not knowing what I'm looking for!

I was reading about the skull theory as well and I think this one fits the description for a girl by that theory too.

The nub looks parallel and at 13+1 I would say that’s almost certainly a girl.

I just wanted to ask you guys again about the nub theory. After we all thought girl from my previous scan photos I had a 16 week scan and the sonographer said the baby was a boy. I've got a clear potty shot which I'll post, but I'm just so surprised. I really thought this was a girl from the get go and after the nub theory suggested girl I'm wondering whether 16 weeks was too early. It was 16 weeks baby on, I had to jiggle around quite a bit to get the baby in a good position but the potty shot definitely shows something between the legs!

What do you guys think?

That's definitely a boy potty shot! Looks like we all got the nub wrong! Here's my DD's potty shot for comparison. Your little one has made himself quite obvious haha most boys do!

Op, before I scrolled down and saw your update, the 13 week scan pictures in my opinion showed no nub, I can see what looks like what could be mistaken as one but in my opinion it was too low, the first scan looks like it could have just imaged the first part of a nub but then the leg covers the rest...if you look at proper confirmed nubs they are higher up almost tailing off the lower belly region. The potty shot images are definitely 100% boy.

That’s definitely a boy potty shot.
I had my gender scan at 15 + 5 and it was very obvious I was having a boy. I think boys are more obvious too. Much less likely to mistake it.
I’ll post mine so you can compare.
