24 weeks and lost all motivation

So I've reached 24 weeks, nearly 25, and after a couple of testing weeks at work I seem to have lost ALL motivation for anything remotely work related.

To be honest, all I want to do is be at home and getting organised and tidying for our new arrival but with 15 weeks to go, this seems a little premature Hmm

I'm just so ridiculously tired, I don't want to be here sat at my desk and I just hope this is a phase Confused

Anyone else in the same boat?

Yes! I’m exactly the same, 24+ weeks and I’ve had enough already. I’ve decided to take 6 weeks off maternity leave before due date and also 2 weeks worth of annual leave! I can’t focus at all at work - I’m too excited and the baby consumes my mind! Glad it’s not just me!!

I am also feeling the same. Currently 19+5 and plan to finish work on 21st Dec. I’ll take around 5 weeks annual leave at the start of 2019 before maternity leave kicks in!

I have a pretty stressful job and usually love the challenge but I’m struggling to get up for work in the morning. Counting down the last 12 weeks now!

Do what’s best for you! I left at 29 weeks, which might seem shameful but I had a hard pregnancy and a couldn’t really give a F about Work in the end, my work were amazing but I called in a lot or left early due to sickness. I took all my annual leave when I left so mat leave doesn’t actually start to October.
Remember if your taking a year off work when you come back you’ll have your full year entitlement holiday aswell, so if you need more time with baby, take 2 or 3 weeks holiday before you come back.
Although I am bored, I don’t stress myself out when the sickness comes back as I’m not constantly worrying about work, it’s a relief! But seriously do what’s best for you :) and good luck

I am totally with you. 25 weeks and no motivation at work. This happened in my previous pregnancies too - I think it's just your mind switching over, wanting to prepare for the baby. I've got another 11 weeks to go at work though, so need to make myself do something useful!

I'm working up until 21st December so 12 weeks to go - it's only leaving me 3 weeks before due date and with Christmas etc. I think that's why I'm starting to worry that I'm not giving myself enough time! I'm going to see how I feel in 4/5 weeks and might just bring it a week earlier so I have an extra week!

My work haven't been overly supportive which is where part of the issue lies I think Confused

Really pleased I'm not the only one xx

I'm 29 weeks and it feels like I lost all motivation since I found out in April!
I am however starting maternity leave/annual leave at 38 weeks 🙈 purely to get more time with baby once he arrives.
Luckily my work are letting me wind down ever so slightly. It's not a stressful job which is why I'm staying until 38 weeks.

9 weeks of working to go 🎉🎉
