Side effects of the flu jab?

Hi all,

I had my flu jab yesterday and just wondering if there are any side effects of having it. Feel absolutely rubbish today and been sent home from work so trying to figure out I've it's coincidence or a reaction to the jab

If you had the needle vaccine and not the nasal spray then in shouldn't cause much more than a few aches from the injection and a mild fever as the injection isn't a live vaccine.

The nasal spray is however so I believe this can cause mild cold/flu symptoms

I've had flu jabs for about 5 years now and have not yet had a reaction. Maybe you had a bug brewing before you had it.

I think its normal to feel a bit achy and under the weather after flu jab, my friends were the same.

Try and rest, keep your fluid intake up and take paracetamol if you need.

Thanks everyone. Was vomiting today so wasn't sure if it was a bug or not. Feeling better now so just gonna rest for the rest of the evening 😊
