One of my lovely co-workers is pregnant with her first baby and is suffering from Hyperemisis. She has been hospitalised several times in 12 weeks needing fluids. She is currently refusing to see anyone. I'd like to send her something to cheer her up - any ideas?

I suffered the same way for 15 weeks in hospital and it was horrible. I ate NOTHING and just wanted to stay in bed. It was a very hard and dark time. Im sure a card and flowers will be appreciated

Send her lots of sympathy and tell her you're happy to listen to her complaining if she needs to vent about how foul she's feeling.

Perhaps some not too strong smelling flowers and a card would be enough? Just so she knows you're thinking of her.

Anything strong smelling or a food gift would likely cause further nausea.

Maybe a personalised moon pig card something humorous to cheer her up! Most hospitals don't allow flowers anymore! So comfy pjs or slippers would be a nice gesture!
