I've only got two, but would love more if space and money etc allowed.

Good luck with the pregnancy

Can't believe you get so many bad comments. I think having a large family is lovely. Only 3 here....(at the mo )

I hope your pregnancy goes very well and you get lots of help with you other choldren so you can rest.

Hats off to you ladies!

Chopster · 15/06/2007 08:40

wow, well done you. I've only got four and that gets enough comments, so I know what you mean. It was quite upsetting when the twins were babies, and walking around with 4 under 5 got me some nasty comments. Have you any twins in your brood? There are quite a few of us on the multples thread with large families.

I can't help but wonder how you manage! I'm stopping now, although I would love another little girl, I couldn't go through the baby bit again, as having two boisterous toddlers is enough for me!

throgmorton · 15/06/2007 10:31

You lucky, lucky thing... Our 2 bed house is already full with 1 ds so looks like 2 will be our max but I want at least 6! I seriously you!

throgmorton · 15/06/2007 10:31

I'm sure this is naive but that anyone would have something bad to say about big families!

Mercy · 15/06/2007 10:34

There is a mumsnetter called juule who, iirc, has 9 children! Hopefully she'll see this thread.

Congratulations and good luck

Cadmum · 15/06/2007 10:35

Only four here but you are an amazing inspirations. I could use some coping advice as I seem to be in over my head with 4...
I love the idea of a bigger family but do find the daily routine a bit of a nightmare! (Oddly enough it is not the little ones I find challenging but rather the tweenagers...) How old is your oldest and do you have help?

Well done you!

belgo · 15/06/2007 10:37

there was a poster called twinsxtwo mummy , and she has 8 children, but i think she's changed her name.

My midwife had 10 children. And she owns her own private birthing centre!

Hi Rose

Just wanted to say how fantastic I think large families are! If it were up to me I would have loads too!

juuule · 15/06/2007 10:40

Hi, I'm here with 9. Love having my largish family. Hard work at times and each age and stage throws up it's own challenges but I really wouldn't have it any other way. Have stopped counting now as unlikely to have any more due to reaching "that age that women reach"
Congratulations on lucky 7

NBuGgeration · 15/06/2007 10:41

Just one question,

How the feck do you do it?????!!!!

I find it hard with 2 and am frettng over what it will be like with 3!

magnolia1 · 15/06/2007 10:47

I have 5 but would love more, dh wanted to stop at 4 and we would have but these things happen
I wonder if he will cope if things happen gain
