When did people start getting a bump? First baby and 15 weeks! No sign of a bump yet though?😂😢

I found out I was pregnant then the bump popped out literally writhing a week.

I'm a size 14 so I thought it would have taken longer. I must have had lots of fluid. I was around 9 weeeks Smile

Smurfybubbles · 25/09/2018 08:31

From what I can remember it took until about 20 weeks until it popped a bit more. Up until then my waisted just looked chunkier. By the end it looked like I'd swallowed a giant beachball, 5ft with a 9 pound baby in there and about 50 million liters of fluid Confused

Lucky! I want a bump 😫 baby is sitting almost inside my hip? Healthy and happy though so I'm not concerned, I just don't feel like pregnant person 🙄😂

I don't look any different than I do before I was pregnant! I've not even gained weight, which my midwife isn't concerned about as I'm eating and drinking as I should and she is happy with all baby's checks

I was about 18ish weeks before I personally noticed anything and about 22 weeks before anyone else did (including friends who knew I was pregnant).

Stephisaur · 25/09/2018 09:30

I was starting to show (more than just a large meal lol) at around 16 weeks. I was a size 16 before pregnancy.

Bump really started to round out at about 24 weeks when baby decided to turn from transverse to head down (I'm being scanned every 2 weeks so I had proof!) before that, he was very low down and it wasn't a very round bump.

I'm now at 28 weeks and it's looking very nice, apart from the dent where my tummy button is!

dinosaurkisses · 25/09/2018 09:31

About 18/19 weeks with dc1. Before that I just looked chunkier.

With this pregnancy I started dramatically bloating at 9 weeks. Now I’m 15 weeks it’s beginning to turn into a proper bump.

ButAIBUtho · 25/09/2018 11:07

From 16 weeks with all three babies, and I have enormous bumps and big babies but despite this I don't show early (apart from the bloat 'bump' anyway, but that's not a real baby bump.)

thismeansnothing · 25/09/2018 11:19

Second baby 18 week and nothing . Just look like I've had a cake too many

Goostacean · 25/09/2018 11:23

Around 18 weeks, probably 20 for it to look like a bump and not just a big meal.

Be afraid of your wishes OP, mine was cute for a while and then was just a massive inconvenience and uncomfortable too! Congratulations and good luck with your pregnancy Smile

Meganc559 · 25/09/2018 11:55

I was around the 20 week mark when I started seeing a bump,I m a size 12, I was dying for one cause no body would even know I was pregnant before that so I feel your pain haha.
It really starts to grow around week 30

Shanmoo · 25/09/2018 11:56

I'm 21 weeks and still nothing!!

katie23913 · 25/09/2018 17:56

I wouldn't worry everyone is different. As it is your first baby it takes longer for the bump to show because your uterus has never stretched before, so my midwife told me. I'm 21 weeks and I don't have a massive bump. I'm sure it will pop out soon.

Shmithecat · 25/09/2018 18:00

Not til about 22 weeks. I'm tall though so maybe baby had enough room top to bottom to not go outwards too early. My bump never looked big the whole way through really. Ds was 7lb 9, I didn't gain a massive amount of weight either, less than 2 stone.

hammeringinmyhead · 25/09/2018 18:10

It was noticeable if you knew at 14 weeks and a bumo-shape at 18, but really I was only obviously pregnant at 20 weeks.

Wordie · 25/09/2018 19:23

I’m worrying because I’m the opposite. I’m only 12 + 4 and had a few days of crampy stretching pains and hardening of lower abdo. I’ve now got a noticeable round belly that feels hard. Husband thinks it too soon!! Not sure if my baby bump is actually just bloating or fat!!! 😂

MyHusbandSaysIHave1000MNNames · 25/09/2018 19:32

20 weeks

katie23913 · 25/09/2018 19:50

At 12 weeks I would probably say it was bloating. Unless it's not your first pregnancy then it maybe a bump.

SophieStripe · 25/09/2018 20:08

I would say I started to notice something very slight for myself, without clothes, around 20/21 weeks. No one else could tell though. It became noticeable to others around 23 weeks but I still think it's fairly small (25 weeks now) and it could be mistaken for having eaten too many pies still 😂

Sharon1983 · 25/09/2018 20:29

I am 32 weeks pregnant and have just had the bump pop out 3 weeks ago. Up until week 28/29 nobody could tell i was pregnant. This is my first and i had extreme sickness from day 1 to week 27.

Dandybelle · 25/09/2018 20:31

I was about 16 weeks I think. I'm now 32 weeks, measuring huge, and hating life 😂

DD1 was a whopper so expecting this baby to be even bigger.

Bumps are fun between week 20 and 28, after that you'll be over it haha!

snoopy18 · 25/09/2018 20:40

I’m preggers with first - no bump yet but I’m still early on only at 15 weeks. I have massive hips so kinda hoping I don’t get crazy big assuming things go well with pregnancy. I remember my sister didn’t show till after 6 months then it came from nowhere!

ShanAmanda · 26/09/2018 09:00

Ooh! So I might be waiting a while yet! People laugh when I say I'm pregnant; they go "well where's the bump?". Hiding 🙄 I'm only a size 8/10 so even typical bloating is noticeable to me, but nothing haha!
