Hey everyone!! I am currently 5 months pregnant with my second and suffering terribly with my back. I pulled a muscle and it forever goes into spasm. I have been given codeine and paracetamol from the gp but they don’t seem to be working. I use all the home remedies which I can do, but has anyone had acupuncture during pregnancy? Was it worth it?

I’ve massively suffered with my back from 14 weeks, had paracetamol, cocodamol , physio and accupuncture.
Unfortunately nothing has worked for me, the acupuncture actually made mine worse it wasn’t very nice when she put the needles in either.
But mine isn’t due to a pulled muscle, they don’t know why my back is so bad. Can’t go out because of the pain, can’t stand up or sit down for very long at all & had to finish work really early I have to lie flat to get any relief from it it’s awful. I’m now 35 weeks and getting worse by the day. Just hoping that it goes after I give birth, if not I don’t know what I’ll do.
Not saying acupuncture won’t work for you but for me personally I was in even more pain for a few days after and I know someone else who had acupuncture and it made it worse too x
