Harmony test not detecting gender?

I have twice given blood for the harmony test now. First time they said they couldn't detect the gender from that sample so I did it again. Now told they couldn't find enough of whatever in the blood to detect gender. They said I can try again but I think they think they won't be able again?

Has this happened to anyone? Could you get any refund?

They had to convince me to even bother with the third attempt. I did go yesterday so will see but given up. I'm sure any abnormalities will show at 20 week scan ??

Hi I think when I read up on Harmony and other people experiences that the gender one and a few inconclusive for some reason. It could be a bit early maybe. Hopefully this one will give you the answer, I've just had mine as I wanted to know both for peace of mine on chromosome issues (inc the gender specific ones) and because I'm impatient and wanted to know what we are having so understand you wanting to know for both reasons :) best of luck

I didn't know the harmony test even told people the sex of the baby. We had to have CVS testing, so found out that way.

I am having a girl. I have never found out on my other children but my GP just blurted it out when he rang with the results of the test.

I did go back for a 4th redraw at 28 weeks and I got a result! All low risk
