I'm 30+5 with PGP and struggling to get comfortable. Anyone else? Sad

Hey OP. Not pregnant but I am struggling to sleep. Coming down with flu and have the cold sweats and shakes...also I can’t stop peeing!! I’m letting DH sleep and I’ve come downstairs to spoon the dog and drink camomile tea. I’m sending you a hug 🤗

Flowers I've just had a cry out of self pity and feel better now. DP is downstairs tonight so I'm stuck up here wishing it was time to get ready for work lol. Hope you are feeling better soon, being ill sucks Flowers

Thanks OP. Glad you feel a bit better, sometimes a good wallow and sob can do wonders. I’ve convinced myself to call in sick today. I hate calling in sick but I’ve had zero sleep and I feel like my brain has been scooped out. Hope you feel better soon and feel brighter in the morning. If the sob hasn’t worked then I can heartily recommend a cuddle from a Labrador 😁

Hi OP Smile
Completely understand how you feel! I've been up most the night with pain so I completed the baby box university course thing.
Have you found anything that relieves the pain at all? Hope you feel better this morning Flowers

I am also struggling with this at night. A hot water bottle seems to be helping me. I also have a het mat that I have plugged in at the side of my bed that I can place under my hip.

I was like this with my first and the best thing for me was getting up no matter the time, having a candlelit bath and listening to an audiobook before going back to bed. I basically lived in the bath.

I know how you feel! It’s really frustrating but I’ve found getting up and going to watch telly and have a snack seems to help. Go back to bed after about an hour and usually manage to get to sleep after that! I find it worse if I lie in bed getting annoyed about not sleeping
