I need to make a decision about whether to give birth at Stoke Mandeville or Watford soon.
I am 40, first baby and I am rather scared about the whole birth to say the least. I will be going for a standard hospital birth as I’m not good with pain at the best of times and think I will happily accept any medication possible to try and makes this as pain free as possible. A very close friend had a horrific birth in London and knowing the details from that is not helping. My concerns lie in staff turnover during the labour itself and then the post care.
Has anybody given birth recently at either hospital and can give any feedback. The good and bad are appreciated.
