I'm 30 weeks pg with twins and for the last fortnight I've had a nagging back ache down my left side which only goes away when I'm lying down. What else can I do? I feel all wonky and the constant pain is really getting me down!

I had that from 28 weeks.. went to GP who referred me to physio with sciatica. I go weekly and she does lovely exercises with me that relief the pain. Make an appointment to see your GP. Don't worry or suffer!

Or maybe you need to have a very big poo?

Big poos aren't a problem - a veggie diet and a determination not to get piles sorts that out

I'm seeing my consultant on Wednesday so will ask about it then, I have had to finish work a week early and start my maternity leave today because of it, I was sweating and almost crying in work - blimmin' office chairs!

I had sciatica with dd and that went down my bum and leg, this is only in my back - hope I get ordered to get regular massages and take it very easy
