Cervical erosion

Hi I'm 9+1 weeks pregnant and have cervical erosion which was diagnosed before pregnancy. At around 4 & 5 weeks I had some light brown/pink spotting which I put down to implantation. I have this week been experiencing the same which is worrying for me, on Wednesday I wiped and there was normal coloured discharge but with the tiniest pink prick sized of red blood and now I've just been to the toilet and wiped and the discharge was pinky brown colour. Anyone have any experience with cervical erosion in pregnancy 😢

I had it all the way through pregnancy. I had to be checked each time I had a bleed to make sure everything was okay as I had reduced movement to. They ended up inducing me at 38 weeks so they could control it better as mine was quite bad.

I had erosion since well before TTC, years of irregular bleeding because of it, so frustrating and noone would help, eventually got it lasered (privately) and no problems for a few years now. Unable to be on pill again tho, since the hormones bring it back. Since Pg (now 10+2) have had a few episodes similar to you, from 4wks onwards, pinky brown discharge on wiping, lasts a day or so then nothing for a week. One time happened post sex but not since. Had early scan at 6 wks because I was of course worried, advised no bleed in uterus so my assumption is the Pg hormones have started the erosion symptoms off again. Was told at epau that bleeding like this is quite common. Mentioned it to mw, she didn't seem concerned about that either, but since I also had loop excision for pre cancerous cells several years ago i am being referred to have cervix checked in case this could be an issue later and need stitches in cervix when baby is bigger. (Hopefully not ☹️) However afaik this is not usually needed for cervical erosion/ectropion on its own, and everything I read about erosion indicates it generally creates no issues during Pg, unless there's heavy bleeding which unfortunately perhaps was the case with pp.

Now I know what the pink/brown is I have not contacted the mw again since that early scan, as don't think there's much can be done and noone seemed too concerned. But obviously am keeping an eye on it in case gets alot worse.
Hope all goes well for you.
