5 weeks pregnant and feeling really ill (not with morning sickness)

hi im new here and really need some advice it all started two days ago which i thought was a common cold i had a really sore throte but now my nose is really hurting me and im having pain in my left ear i had a miscarriage 3 months ago and im really worried that this will effect this pregnancy i cant get to the doctor until Monday being a weekend and i really dont want to take paracetamol am i being dramatic or should i be concerned about the effect this can have on my pregnancy any advice would really be gratefully received.

I'm not sure I'm much help, but if it makes you feel any better I had a sickness bug and was really ill early on in pregnancy. Probably around 3-5 weeks!
It definitely wasn't morning sickness, a few family members had had it. All was fine and it had no effect and I really doubt your illness will have an effect either

It's only natural to feel that way! I was just the same, I even had a fall and went home crying thinking I had hurt the baby but as the midwife pointed out they're well protected in there

Hope you feel a lot better soon! And congratulations on your pregnancy too I am very envious

If u are in the UK you can call the nhs on 111 for medical advice and if needs be they can make you an out of hours doctors appointment for tomorrow

Paracetamol won’t harm your baby but a temperature might so if you feel unwell and hot take it
