Hi all
Just wondering if anyone felt the nausea with minimal vomiting, from about 8 weeks to now but it did stop before birth?

I am waking up every day hoping this is the day I can start enjoying my pregnancy Sad

Mine stopped in previous pregnancy only when I went on mat leave. I was sick from 7 - 34 weeks, with a few weeks around 20 weeks where I felt a bit better but still nauseous. Everyone kept saying it would stop "soon" but the reality was it was only once I slowed down and rested that I felt slightly better.

I'm 18 weeks and have felt awful for the entire time. I had three days last week where I felt ok, but it came back with a vengeance. It's so horrible and I totally sympathise with you.

I've got constant nausea but haven't vomited once. Almost makes me feel like a fake, but it's so debilitating. I can almost hear people thinking... well you look ok... oh just man up. Etc. Oh and if one more person says ... have you tried ginger? I will punch them. Lol.

Like you, I really want to enjoy this. It's our first baby and almost every day I'm in tears when people ask me if I'm ok - because I'm not.

My very best friend actually said to me the other day (she has a 6 month old baby) "oh well enjoy it, I'd rather be pregnant again than this bit" (because she's so tired and baby is unhappy all the time). I felt like saying, that's really unfair and is essentially making light of what I'm going through. That your situation is harder or something. I feel on the edge of throwing up from 7am till 11pm, sure that's helpful.

You are not alone and I really hope things get better!

Xx

Sorry to say I felt awful through my entire last pregnancy but genuinely it was much easier once my twins were born, at least when I slept I was comfortable and not being sick or needing a wee.
For me babies genuinely much easier than pregnancy, I hope that makes someone feel better Flowers

Some lovely replies thank you everyone.

To be frank I’ve not tried any remedies like ginger because I doubt they will work. Maybe I should.

And the tea! I’ll look that up
