I’m 31 weeks havnt experienced Braxton Hicks at all nor did I in my first pregnancy!
This morning I’ve been led in bed and felt like I had period pains, belly has been going tight last few days but didn’t know if it’s just cause I’m ‘all bump’ as people keep telling me.

I thought maybe I needed the toilet but I don’t ! I’ve so period pains were coming and going they’ve eased off now, and baby hasn’t had a wriggle since I woke- does it sound like Braxton Hicks ?

Should have added nothings hurt at all! The cramps were abit uncomfy but just period like pains, and when my belly’s been going tight it hasn’t been sore at all
The tightening is more all over my stomach rather than low down?

That sounds exactly like Braxton Hicks. Mine started around 30 weeks and increased in frequency until I had baby at 40 weeks.

I would say though, that if you've noticed that baby's movements have reduced, you should ring your MW just to be on the safe side.

Ah thankyou! Everything I’ve read regarding Braxton Hicks suggested they’re very low down which these arnt.
I’m jusy about to eat breakfast now so if she’s not had a wriggle after that I’ll give them a call

I've had these for several weeks now (I'm 32 weeks). My entire bump goes solid for 30s or so but painlessly. I assumed it was BH.

Is it in the middle of your bump?i was expecting the tightening to be lower down but it isn’t !
I do have my whooping cough vaccine today finally (oops) so may ask them

Sounds like Braxton Hicks, I get them all over my bump. But if you are worried, always call the midwife

Sounds exactly like Braxton hicks which are more common in subsequent pregnancies. Mine are like period pains and I feel tightenings right across the bump.

Any change at all in movements should have a wee call to the midwife Op. All will be fine but they're there to check Smile
