Katlin will constantly be asked 'Caitlin?'

Alexia is pretty cool.

belgo · 10/06/2007 20:05

Alexia is nice.
Prefer Caitlin to Katlin

fryalot · 10/06/2007 20:05

I like them both, but if you go with Katlin, people will get very confused and call her Kaitlin. The first time you will calmly correct them, but by the 800th time, you will be yelling at them "HER NAME'S EFFIN KATLIN YOU IGNORANT B* * * * * D"

Love Alexia

MrsTulkinghorn · 10/06/2007 20:05

Alexia (as long as you like Lexy as she will be called that).
Katlin will constantly have to explain she is not Caitlin.

WigWamBam · 10/06/2007 20:08

Alexia is nice. But MrsT is right - she will end up being called Lexie. Or even Leckie, as an Alexis I went to school with was called.

I prefer Caitlin to Katlin.

lulumama · 10/06/2007 20:08

agree with the Katlin / caitlin thing

DD has Amelie as her middle name. The reason it is not her first name is that i got sick of telling people, we;re going to call her Amelie, and they'd say, oh emily, what a lovely name!!

also our surname is unusual and hard to pronounce, so didn;t want to give her two names she;d have to spell for years!

also, think Alexia goes better with Tanisha

lisad123 · 10/06/2007 20:19

I prefer Alexia my self and dont mind shorten to lexy or alex. tanisha gets shortened to Tani or Nisha
Im happy but dh is still not sure, I have a few months left to conveice hime

Alexia is lovely, and I love Lexi too.

unknownrebelbang · 10/06/2007 20:22

Another vote for Alexia, or Lexy.

Katlin will be called.......Cat, or like others have said Caitlin.

lisad123 · 10/06/2007 20:22

Catlin was my dd suggestion, she has a friend called it at nursery but I suggested Alexis and tanisha said no alexia

Now just got to think of middle name

Lisa
