I had a EMCS with my daughter who is 2& a half. She's weighed 9.1lb the reason for the section was she was back to back and wouldn't turn and this was causing no further progress. I got to 9cm after 12-14 hours of active labour.

This time around I have been given growth scans & baby is measuring above the 95th centile & measuring around 5 weeks ahead. After speaking to my consultant yesterday she has booked me in for another growth scan & if she still increases in size or follows the same centile I will be induced at 38 weeks but I will not be offered the pessary as they can't control this once inside - I will be offered the drip if my cervix is open & they will break my waters.

Ofcourse I wants what's best for me & the baby but I really want to deliver naturally without the induction (had the drip during my 1st labour) & the c-section is really the last thing I want as I had such a horrible time recovering. Has this happened to anyone? Is there a likelihood she will come early as she's measuring bigger and it's 2nd baby? Sorry for the long post xo
