How many fitted sheets?!?

I have a Moses basket for downstairs and a snuzpod for by the side of my bed.
I've bought 2 fitted sheets for each, is that enough?
Also do I need any for the peak too? And mattress protectors for all 3?

I think it's enough I have two for each and it's enough for me . He's not a very sicky baby so guess it's different if they are and he's only leaked nappy couple of times (he's 4 months)

I don't have mattress protector either

Thanks @Emma145 did you have a sheet for the Pram too?

We got three of each. If puking happened you could put a clean one on and still have one in reserve. Without the one in reserve I would have felt the need to start washing in the middle of the night a few times in case there was round 2!

3 each, and one for the pram. Though personally I used a sheet, then a tucked muslin, then a sheet, and another tucked muslin. That way when in the night baby was sick, I'd just whip the muslin out ad the sheet would be ready. If they were sick again, I just ripped one sheet off and the other sheet was ready underneath.

I didn't have a sicky baby though.

I found moses basket sheets fitted the snuz pod and pram though.

It wouldn't have been enough for me on dd2 she was very pukey.
I used a pillowcase over the sheet and then if she got sick I could take that off and put another one down.

twobambinos · 19/09/2018 22:20

Pillowcase tucked in at the sides rather than the mattress in the pillowcase of you get me

TokyoSushi · 19/09/2018 22:20

I'd get a few more in case you get a pukey one!

Thetimehascometo · 19/09/2018 23:46

We have 6, we have a very pukey baby 🙈

bellsbuss · 19/09/2018 23:57

I had 6 too for 2 of mine as they were always bringing their milk back up, makes life easier to have lots of spare bedding

Iwantaunicorn · 20/09/2018 00:01

I bought 6 each for my DTs, and use 2 - one on, one ready. I have 2 mattress protectors each as well. For the carrycots I just used pillow cases after reading it on here!

LucyLou19 · 20/09/2018 09:32

I’ve bought 6 and 2 mattress protectors. They’re a god send unless you want mattress ruining xx

mumofmunchkin · 20/09/2018 09:37

We used pillowcases, mattress inside the pillowcase and tuck the edges underneath the mattress. I have loads of pillowcases so not going to run out. You could always do this as a back up to your fitted sheets, so you don’t need to buy loads.

SiolGhoraidh · 20/09/2018 16:30

We use pillowcases as back up. Means late at night you can just flip the mattress to the clean side and worry about it in the morning!
