So I am 37 weeks pregnant and my baby has always been active and still is, but as it gets bigger and stronger I was wondering if there was a chance babies movement could cause waters to break? I get many head butts down there daily and seems to be getting more intense! 😂

I can’t say for sure but mine was constantly active. I had to have a bit of monitoring over the last few weeks as they thought I might go into labour early. Every time I was connected to the heart rate monitor or had a scan the midwife or sonographerveould comment in how active he was. I was kept in hospital for an extra 4 hours after discharge because he was moving around so much they couldn’t get his heart rate measured properly! Lol anyway my waters didn’t break till I was in late stages of labour.

That’s interesting thanks, yes the lady who did our 20 weeks scan really struggled to get all baby’s measurements as he/she was moving around so much!

I am pretty sure the baby's movements can't make your waters break, even if it feels like it might! my DS2 was so active I worried he was going to break a rib. 😂He is 2 now and still very active, much more than his siblings. So, prepare yourself for lots of running around in a couple of years!
