Hi all, I'm new to this sight but can anybody help me. I'm oregnant with 1st baby and am currently 35 weeks and 4 days. For the past couple of days I have had period like cramping and a dull ache at the bottom of my back, I feel some pressure down below and in the back end sometimes like I really need to go to the toilet but then I don't. I felt very strange yesterday format of the day and trouble sleeping through the night. Are these Braxton hicks occurring or could it be an early sign of labour? Don't want to ring the hospital and waste there time

You shouldn't worry about that! You and your baby are most important in your eyes! I was worried about ringing for advice when I was pregnant but that's what they are there for! You should always ring even if it's nothing. Either the midwife, your gp or the ward. One of them will help you and ease your mind. I had pelvic and back pain for a couple of days and Then One morning I woke up needing a wee and I go to the stairs and I thought I had wet myself- my waters had broke and it was a green colour I was scared and didn't want to bother anyone until I told it was serious and my DD had done a poo in the womb! And needed to be induced! Always ring! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! X
