Am I in pre labour first time mum

39 weeks since last night I've had bum pressure, back pain, down below is stinging up inside on and off and early hours I was having groin pain that was literally 100 times worse than period pains. It All eased off apart from back ache and now bum pressure has returned. No waters have broken though so not sure if this is a any day thing.. Last week My midwife did say I was a Cm open at that point and the baby is very low as a finger tip and she was touching the head.

Sounds like it might be starting. I'd eat and rest as much as you can. Good luck.

call your midwife lovely perhaps they should take a look at you. It certainly sounds like you are in the early stages of labor but you might progress quickly. Have your stuff ready xx
p.s waters don't always break I've had 3dc each time waters had to be broken for me.

Ok thank you ladies. Just it keeps stopping and starting im bloody exhausted and uncomfortable. Lol god it's painful,i keep saying I will wait see how it goes knowing me i will be too late. God your waters were broken for you? Blimey I have no idea what I'm doing lol x

Pains on and off not really close together but they last couple minutes feels like 5 minutes but bum pressure has been more frequent.. At the moment I have pains where her head would be which is quite low down!

Any update OP? If you really want things to get going try a walk, ideally up and down lots of stairs-worked for me!
