Use a foot mask that says not for use in pregnancy!

I just done one of those exfoliating foot masks that you leave on for 30 minutes. However I’ve just read on the packet that it says not suitable for pregnant woman and I’m 13 weeks.

I assume it’s just because it’s not been tested in pregnant woman and all will be fine.

Should I panic?

I really wouldn't panic. I can't think of anything which could penetrate the skin enough to be a problem.

Apparently google tells me that it’s the Salicylic Acid that should be avoided in pregnancy.

I doubt enough of the acid will be absorbed into the skin to cause a problem.

I did exactly the same thing a couple of months ago, I just didn't realise until afterwards. As far as I can see it is just because they haven't tested it on pregnant women, there's nothing to suggest it would be harmful xx
