Symptomless first pregnancy?

Hi, new here!
This is my first pregnancy and I’ve done nothing but worry as I’ve had very few symptoms!
I found out at 3 weeks I was pregnant due to late period and nausea but I’ve had second to none when it comes to other symptoms; I’m now 14+4 and my sore boobs have eased (they didn’t even hurt that much to begin with) I’ve had no sickness the whole way, I’ve gone off foods and some times I get really tired!
But other than that nothing, I’ve got the tiniest bump coming as I was a little chunk before but I cannot help but worry?!
I’ve also been told to take aspirin as am higher risk of preeclampsia?!

Any tips or suggestions ladies I’m only 19 and I don’t really have a mum to advise or support me!

Honestly my first pregnancy at 18 I was almost identical. I had 0 symptoms at all apart from a week of sickness which actually indicated the pregnancy. I breezed through and didn't show until I was gone 6 months. I really felt at times like someone had got it wrong as it was so easy.
If you're worried at all speak to your midwife, I'm sure they'll be able to reassure you.
Enjoy feeling 'normal' while you can! I'm now having my 2nd baby at 27 and have felt diabolical since day 1 and still do now at 22 weeks! I jokingly say it's payback for how easy my first was!!!

I’m 34 weeks and I had hardly any symptoms apart from a missed period. I haven’t been sick once, I felt slightly nauseous around weeks 6-9 just first thing in the morning until I ate breakfast. Tender breasts in the beginning too.

Truth is that some women don’t have many symptoms but you don’t tend to hear those stories and it’s not what you expect after watching films / TV.

Relax and enjoy your pregnancy! Congratulations Smile

So it is fairly normal?! I just over worry I’ll take it as a blessing rather than a curse but thankfully I get extra scans and midwife appointments so I shouldn’t be left in the dark too long!
I think it’s where there is a month wait between my first scan and midwife appointment that I’m on edge because I’ve now got all excited and happy baby’s actually there as it didn’t feel real at all’ Grin

That's plenty of symptoms-tiredness, sore boobs, food aversions, no periods etc ! I breezed through pg 1 and 2 with barely any physical symptoms other than feeling a bit sick occasionally and nasal congestion in the second trimester. Both dc were born healthy. Not every one is unlucky enough to feel appalling /be sick a lot etc.
It's natural to worry a bit but try and remind yourself to take each day as it comes and not to create things to worry about. Your symptoms/the way your body feels will change a lot during the 40 wks and that's normal. Everyone has different symptoms during pregnancy. Stay off Google too! Wishing you all the best for the rest of your pg and life with dc.

I am 15 weeks and 1 day and compared to some I have had a very easy time of it. No sickness at all. Mild symptoms if any. Enjoy it x

I don’t get symptoms in early pregnancy although the more pregnancies I have had, mean I now get PGP from my second trimester. I find it really worrying to be so symptom free but it is normal for me. All of my pregnancies have been the same, whether I have miscarried or not.

pineappple · 16/09/2018 14:55

I had 0 symptoms - and had identical twins!

boodles101 · 16/09/2018 15:08

I the only symptom I had was no periods up until the 3rd trimester when I started to get heartburn. I worried aswell but everything was perfectly fine, just really lucky that I found pregnancy quite easy.

Baby number 1... tingly nipples at around BFP time then NOTHING and I mean nothing , no symptoms what so ever throughout pregnancy / other than th bump!!
Baby number 2 - no symptoms early on but slight very manageable nausea for first 12 weeks
Baby number 3 - no early symptoms but my god the nausea for 14 weeks has been awful!

Cloud9889 · 16/09/2018 20:08

Meant to say also I’m 20 weeks with baby number 3 but have had a lot less nausea since 14 weeks - I am the size of a house this time!

Dalesgirl16 · 16/09/2018 20:16

I think you are very lucky ! Don't worry, just enjoy this time while you can. I'm 11 weeks and in my second type of medication for severe nausea. I also have bad insomnia, this happened last pregnancy too - no idea why and thought it must be hormones. I'm wishing the months away as finding it very hard to look after my toddler.

wimbler · 17/09/2018 11:15

Sounds similar to my pregnancy. other than feeling a bit more tired than usual in the first 12 weeks or so, I didn't have any nausea (I threw up once completely out of the blue with very little warning though!) I'm 26 weeks now and feeling pretty great. Don't worry and count yourself lucky!

Firsttimetobe2019 · 17/09/2018 11:33

Oh good I’m glad I’m not the only one!
I’ll count myself lucky then! Luckily I’ve got midwife appointment Friday and then gender scan on Saturday so I should be out at ease for a little while! I think it’s the whole waiting around and not knowing! By the time i can feel movement I’m sure i’ll be a lot better and begging for the baby to make an appearance Smile

Hi @Firsttimetobe2019 I'm exactly the same. Apart from a bloated tummy, a bit more gassy, extreme tiredness, and bigger, sore boobs, there's not much going on down there! I feel like I'm imagining the whole thing, and it's driving me crazy! I haven't had a touch of sickness, and I'm nearly 8 weeks... nothing! I've got my midwife appointment next week and actually feel terrified that I'll be wasting her time as I just don't have many symptoms. Let's hope scan after that shows there's something going on!

I'm also paranoid that as I only did one digital pregnancy test, maybe it was wrong because I don't feel pregnant! Oh well, it's a good complaint I guess!

Firsttimetobe2019 · 18/09/2018 16:58

Well a few weeks ago I had deep ligament pain in my hips and back but that went away! But today after near enough nothing but nausea i’ve got slight back ache now and my stomachs got a feeling that I can describe as being pushed on at the bottom with the odd cramp but other than that nothingg! 15 weeks tomorrow and wanting Fridays appointment to come faster!
