So I'm not pg yet, well I don't know I am as late but no positive test. However in the past few months I've been trying to get fit and have been exercising on an indoor bike 2-4 times a week for an hour at a time.
This week has been poor, I've stuffed my face and not exercised. So to perk myself up in this time of limbo I think I need to push myself to get back to it as I always feel so much better afterwards.
Question is, it's not going to have any negative impact is it. I'd consider cycling to be low impact, but I know I've only been exercising for the past month or 2 so don't want to be over doing it if I don't know my status.
I know this is probably a stupid question!

Can’t see how it would harm the baby at all. Much better to exercise than not, it will get you fit for lugging baby and all it’s paraphernalia around Grin

Frizzy I do a lot of exercise including Bootcamp 3 times per week which is very high intensity.

I got my BFP on Tuesday !

Good luck Smile

Not a stupid question!
From what I've heard, as long as you don't start suddenly doing loads more than usual exercise should be fine. I read you should make sure you don't get dehydrated, make sure you're eating well, and if you start to feel bad then stop - I've been taking it a bit slowly since I found out I'm pregnant, just because I'm suddenly so tired! But I'm hoping feeling like this isn't something that will last too long
I've also read that staying fit can help for the birth, so best to stay as active as possible

It will be fine. Just don't overheat or exercise to the point of total exhaustion - this is the advice I have received throughout all 3 of my pregnancies.

Thanks all. I'm probably not pg anyway, but if I am don't want to over do it.

Cycling is great in pregnancy - I cycled to work right up until 28 weeks. Just take it easy and don’t get too breathless or hot.
