Clearblue Digital Fluctuating- worried about etopic

Hey :) Found out on monday I was pregnant.... conceived around 23rd Aug.... Took a CBD...said 2-3...on wed I took another 2 and it came up 3+. All seemed well until yesterday evening when I had period like cramps. Went to bathroom and discovered brown discharge. When wiping had light brown bleeding. Went into panic mode and done another CBD and it said 2-3 weeks. Tested again this morning and was 2-3. Went to GP who advised me to get beta HCG checked on mon and again wed...(couldnt get it done today as appointmnet was late afternoon and bloods had been already sent for the day). She advised if I have heavy bleeding/pain in meantime to go to A and E. Have had light bleeding again this evening (mild pain) and took another CBD (I will be leaving on beans and toast for the next month!) and it had went back up to 3+. I was initially pleased at this but a quick search of dr google showed that fluctuating hcg levels can be a sign of etopic.... I had prepared myself mentally for miscarriage (which was difficult enough), but an etopic seems 100x scarier. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Edit* I know I will get clarification at some point next week (hopefully) but I'm sure you all understand that every minute feels like an hour sometimes when you are waiting anxiously! Plus my experience is that HCG results seem to take quite long to return to GPs so when I go back on wed I may well not have had results back from monday

I’d contact your nearest EPU or ask your GP to refer you there on Monday morning. Xxx

Please take what the digitals say with a pinch of salt.
They're notorious for doing this and actually cause a lot more harm than good - especially when we think were just trying to reassure ourselves.
I did a CB the day my period was due it said 2-3.... I knew exactly when id conceived so this was pretty accurate....I didn't get a 3+ reading until I was 9 weeks and i only did it cause I'm a worrier lol had been (like yourrself) trying to reassure myself and kept grtting 2-3 which frankly stressed me out more!
I'm fine, babe is fine, currently 31+3.
The sensitivity in those things are sqwuiff!!!
Please don't panic. Try and step away from them and wait for your blood results xx

In the mean time give your epu a call for the bleeding xx

If its brown blood, it means its old. Apparently heamatomas are quiet common and cause brown bleeding when passing (it's a bruise caused by the egg implanting, which is why sometimes you get implantation cramps).
And the clear blues will give different results based on different times of the day, and how diluted your pee is.
I hope everything goes okay though, I know this is terrifying! I've had 2 miscarriages, and I'm absolutely terrified this pregnancy and everything makes me panic so you're not alone. X

Thank you everyone for the advice. The pain isnt that bad (less painful than period cramps) but passed a small brown clot (sorry TMI) when I was collecting FMU today..... should I give out of hours a ring? Im quite sure Im miscarrying as dont "feel" pregnant anymore...the only hope Im clinging on to is the 3+ result last night.....But thats also making me worried that its etopic

Yes you should definitely go and seek help the second you feel something is wrong.
Keep us updated, praying for you ♥

Agreed especially if you're passing clots. Call epu get them to check you over. Could well be an old blood clot but best to check and be saf3 than sorry x
