Who to call if EPU shut? 14+5 Glasgow

I am hoping someone has some information that may be able to help.

Today I have had a few sharp pains when moving/standing up and now have a really dull ache on one side of my stomach. EPU is shut, who should I be calling instead? I believe maternity assessment is only from 16+ weeks and I'm only 14+5.

I suspect it's just ligament pain but didn't know whether to get this checked out just incase or whether I'm worrying about nothing. Or maybe I should just wait and call EPU on Monday if it doesn't get any worse?!

I'd just give them a call and see what they say and if not they will be able to advise you on what to do , best to be reassured

I'd just wait personally.

If it was another day I'd say ring in the morning but as its over the weekend I would ring maternity assessment for advise. In my area it's from 14 weeks and I know others that are from 12 so I don't think they will mind that much if it is too early for them especially as epu isn't open until Monday.

Also in glasgow, just phone the hospital your booked into they have another place for less than 16 weeks they ask you when you call and will put you through, hope all is well 💜

Many thanks all, a bit more reassured now. To call back in the morning if anything gets worse but the pain has totally gone now.
