Swollen ankles and fingers... to worry?

Woke up this morning with really swollen ankles and fingers. Can't get my shoes on. Fingers are like sausages. Feel really tired and wondering whether I should go and get my blood pressure taken?

Bit worried. Do you think docs would see me for 2 mins or would I need to go to a&e?

How far along are you?

I would call triage at your maternity unit, personally, as it could be a symptom of pre-eclampsia.

It could be dehydration too, but I would think that's unlikely if they still haven't gone down (assuming you've been drinking fluids and resting?)

It's always best to check x

I'm nearly 33 weeks. This is what I was worried about. I don't feel too unwell (no more than usual) but it's because I've become so swollen so quickly that I'm slightly concerned.

Finish work in 30 mins so will call the MLU then and see what they say!

Anyone else had sudden onset swelling and it's been totally fine/nothing to worry about?

Get it checked.
Mine came on after being on my feet at work all day so to be expected.
I have permanant sexy cankles now and could package up my fingers for walls and they'd be none the wiser LOL.
But seriously get checked just to be on the safe side. I've attached a pic of my sexy cankle just for the giggle. I usually have skinny legs lol 🤣

Agreed, get checked and make sure they check your blood pressure. Mine were puffy the other week but it turned out my bp is on the low side but it's better to be cautious.
