Can I still be pregnant?

Hi, I was on the implant for 8 months and removed it on the 31st July. I had unprotected sex on the 16th Aug and on the 24th Aug I started feeling very nauseous and had a really bad headache. After for about 2 days I had light spotting both pink and brown, my nausea was still there and I had cramps. On the 28th Aug my period came so I thought I was not pregnant, however I still decided to take a pregnancy test and it was negative. I still have symptoms, feel nausea everyday as well as cramps, stomach pains, feel very bloated, my lower back hurts and after I go toilet I get cramps as well. I have done 2 more tests and its still negative. So could I be pregnant and just had a low hcg level because I was on contraception and had irregular periods or is it just the side effects of coming off the implant. What should I do? Should I wait this month to see if my period will come or should I ask for a blood test?

If the tests are negatives, it's most likely your body trying to get back to its regular rhythm. If you're concerned, get bloods taken.

I'd imagine a test would show at least a faint positive by now but of course you never know. I would wait another couple of weeks though as I've seen other posts on here from people describing a similar situation and it has taken nearly 2 months for their cycle to sort it out. Having the implant out knocks your hormones and cycle out of whack. If there's still no sign of your period in a couple of weeks, test again and if you're really concerned maybe as the GP to do a blood test.
