Why is my midriff growing?

My midriff is growing quite fast and at this rate, it'll be bigger than my baby belly!!!

What's going on? Is baby squishing all my fat up to my midriff or am i just a fat pie eater?

RG (15+3)

are you constipated at all? It can sometimes cause mid-riff sweeling when your intestines are pushed upward and are quite full You get a weird 'B' looking belly with it but it does go away

Hmmmm come to think of it, i haven't had a "movement" today so maybe that's it. My midriff is full of sh1t. Oh joy!!!

I'm pretty round in that area too RGP & I'm not constipated, just a big eater I've not actually put any weight on (maybe 1 pound) but it's all distributed rather strangely. I asked m/w today as I was beginning to worry but baby bump is exactly right for my 18 weeks.

Last time i weighed myself i'd put on half a stone and i'm only 15+3 so you've done well to only put on a pound!!!

Sheer luck, cos I'm eating for about half a dozen. M/W asked me today if I was eating enough & the only way I could eat more would be if they added an extra hour to the day. It's not healthy by any stretch of the imagination either, I might throw in the odd apple or banana but there's plenty of junk in there too. Only put on 15 pounds with DD so hoping this one goes the same although so far most other aspects have been different so I'm due to blow up soon.

i so want to bwe rude to you there with your 'midriff full of sh*t' comment

RGPargy · 09/06/2007 06:39

LOL @ Misdee. Dont you effin' dare!! :P

Jbck - I hope it doesn't all suddenly catch up with you like it did with me! I was eating for England and not putting weight on - til a couple of weeks ago when WHAM i'd suddenly put on half a stone!!!

I was doing bacon butties & big chip rolls every day with DD from about 7 months & I'd lost 10 pounds of the 15 by the time I'd come out of hospital, but I was 6 years younger & under the big 40 so it's bound to get me this time. Bought some maternity trousers today & they're too big in the bum but I'm not sending them back just in case I fill it all of a sudden.
Go have some chocolate see if you can join the two bits together
