Hand hold - pregnant again

I seem to get pregnant very easily. I had a MC towards the start of this year that really dragged with retained product and eventually had an ERPC. Then next cycle got pregnant with a chemical - only ever got really faint lines and eventually I just had a slightly late period. Cycle after this (last one) I thought I hadn’t conceived but after having some symptoms and doing a test I guess what I thought of as a shorter than usual period was implantation bleeding.

It’s a proper thick line so much better than the chemical but this is also the problem as I’m starting to dwell on it and even get excited. At this point I really don’t know even how to get through a few weeks until I can have a scan without driving myself crazy!

Anyone in a similar position?

Not exactly the same. But i had a 2 mc's this year(before 12w) with one cycle in between them and then somehow managed to get pregnant without trying immediately after the last mc. I'm now 16 weeks and babe is doing just fine.
The horror and panic and stress of the first 3 months is dreadful. I think I did a test every day for the first two weeks, and then every other day and then every week until I had an early scan at 10w for some heavy bleeding.
I was convinced I'd mc again, or have a mmc so I burst into tears when she said baby and hb was there!
I think for the most part of the day after I did a test I'd try to pretend it wasn't happening and focused on things like yoga, walks, cleaning. A lot of cleaning.

A line is just a line I'm afraid. As lovely as it is to see a dark one, it isn't an indicator to a successful pregnancy (one mc was normal line, one was a supersuper dark line, my current preg started out really really faint and never got hugely dark).
Take it one day at a time, and good luck!

Brown discharge today. I was feeling so positive about this one and now just don’t know.

Brown is old blood. It could mean something, it might not mean something.

Have you seen a doctor about the issues you’re having?

wheezing · 12/09/2018 10:07

No, I have one DC so I know I can carry a pregnancy. If this one fails I might speak to someone though as 3 would make it recurrent (although the chemical I didn’t obviously mention to a doctor so there are no records, I hope they would just take my word for it).
I can’t imagine I’m further along than 4 and a half weeks given I think you could implantation bleeding as 7 days from conception from what I can find online (also I had a negative pregnancy test just before) so not much point going to EPU anyway so early, they won’t be able to see anything I assume.
For whatever reason I just felt like this was stood a better chance. It was a decent line and in my others I knew they were failing as HCG clearly wasn’t increasing quickly enough (in first one I had tests and it wasn’t doubling but then did rapidly shoot up but it was too little too late even though that one dragged on for months and months).

My doc took two mc as recurrent. Do speak to them if you need to, it could be a simple thing.

They won't take a chemical as a mc usually! :( And definitly won't do anything until 3 mc if you have a dc already (been there argued that...)
Brown dc is okay!
especially if you had implant spotting. i would imagine it is left over from that. If it gives you hope (as i mentioned before), I had fresh pink dc every time I wiped for two days at about 8w, then two weeks later, I woke up to really dark fresh heavy blood two weeks later and assumed a MC, it eased off after about an hour and then I guess it would be classed as heavy spotting all day, had a scan at epu the next day showing I was actually 10+5, got home, had some more heavy bleed and then lighter spotting, the next day I then passed a clot about the size of a £2 coin, and that was the end of it! Just coming up to 16 weeks and got to hear hb today and feel baby wiggling often!
Every mc, is one step closer to a successful one! How are you doing now?

wheezing · 12/09/2018 15:43

Thanks @Emmafh3 yeah I’d assumed the NHS won’t be that bothered (or if they are, there is a limited amount they can do since I have one already).

Yes, I’m also thinking that the blood might be “left over” from my mini period / implantation bleeding. I really, really hope so. Time will tell I suppose.
