Hi, Im very new here and to all this. I’m estimated to be around 6 weeks, last week when I found out I was happy and excited since Sunday I’ve just been miserable and feeling under the weather. I feel like I’ve got a mild flu or something and spent two days in and out of bed. Feel like I have a fever but the highest it was on Monday was 37.9 (100.2) feeling chills, weak and exhausted. No morning sickness just a light queasy feeling and really thirsty. I can eat fine though 🙂. Any one else or could I actually be ill? 😷!!!

Me too!

I spent two days not moving further than the couch. Hot/cold/hot/cold, queasy constantly, exhausted after about a minute of standing and non stop burping!

On the plus side, I have much more energy today (still incredibly queasy though).

Sounds very familiar. Between weeks 6-14 I had some really awful days, and the rest were 'only' moderately bad. Then I felt totally normal again! You will find things that will help (mine were ice cold water, ice pops and fruit juice). It just means the hormones are working, although it would be nice if they didn't work quite that much sometimes... Congrats Flowers

I felt so rough 6-12 weeks, like really awful, but it's passed now, I'm 17 weeks, it's hard to explain to people just how lousy you feel but I'll keep my fingers crossed it passes soon for you, get plenty rest when you can xx

I could have written your post, in fact I've not long put one up saying pretty much the same

Unbelievably run down! Spent today wondering whether this is a typical (albeit difficult) start to pregnancy or whether I'm actually ill and have a virus

I hope you feel better soon Flowers

Thank you ladies. I’m feeling a bit better this morning except the stuffy nose and sore throat that developed last night. Which makes me think it’s actually a virus I’ve got. I caved last night and took 1 paracetamol and slept on and off for 9 hrs my temp is down to 37 now. Lots of honey and lemon and chicken soup and Netflix is on the cards today. There is something going round making people feel yuck and our immune system are down now so it could be. Sending hugs to you all and congratulations even if we feel a bit miserable atm 💐 x

You are likely to feel rough for the next few weeks (going from experience). You may be more susceptible to falling ill because of lower immune system also.
